Yes, but likely only at universities which state their entry requirements in terms of UCAS points.

Why is that?

Because they normally quote their entry requirements either in terms of 3 A levels, or in terms of one or more BTECs (being the equivalent of 3 A levels) or in terms of UCAS points. A mixture of A levels and BTECs just makes things messy - but they all earn UCAS points.
