So i got an offer for the tech apprenticeship role in sheffield. I would like to relocate to london but unfortunately i cant do that. Im not sure if there are apprentices who have relocated to london for the Tech apprenticeship

Ohh I see, when I said relocating I meant moving away from home. I’m moving to Sheffield for the role and probably going to be living in a house share.

I did my assessment centre this Monday, I was told I will receive a feedback report on the same day but I still have not been able to!!

Should I be concerned?

For tech, AC was the last stage. Not sure about other roles though, they might be different for somewhere like London as they are probably more competitive.

For the AC did you have to do a presentation or share your screen?
Do you know if you have Prep time are you being assessed during this?
For the Degree do you know which University?

Uni is LIBF which is not really a Uni. It’s more an institution that specialises in getting people to banking and finance careers

Hey! I wouldn’t worry, I did my Ac three weeks ago and only got sent my feedback report on Friday. Hope that helps..

I received a timeline email from them on Monday. I was told they’d send contracts out 3 weeks after my phone call but that was 3 weeks ago. I also haven’t been asked to give any of my details for the vetting process yet.

I haven't even received the timeline email. I might drop them an email to see when they send out contracts, I have a feeling they might be altering the contract for some thing or another, or they are waiting for all the spots to be filled before sending them out.

I'll be honest, I thought they used ada college for the tech degree apprenticeship, are you sure its sheffield hallam?

not sure what the salary is, I wasn't really paying attention to the phone call when they called cause I was in the middle of a private study, but in terms of the cloud service provider, I think they let you rotate between business areas like cyber, engineering and data and then you can choose an area to work in, at least that's what my interviewers told me in the ved.

for tech sheffield:
There was no presentation, and I never had to share my screen
during the prep time, if you are referring to the activities at the end of the interview, I don't think they are assessing you, but you have to keep your camera and mic on so they know you aren't cheating, but they might notice how you are preparing your response, because I asked if I can use some paper to make notes about the information given
For the degree, honestly I have no clue anymore, I've seen different people saying different things, I thought it was ada college with a digital technology solutions degree
