Good universities without maths A-level “Urgent”

I am currently in year 13 studying level 3 IT Cambridge Technical in college, and I am coming close to my deadline for applications and also getting very nervous that I won't get into a good university, if not a respected university. I have never been good at math and had to resit my GCSE twice for math, and my parents kept on telling me how much of a disappointment I was and were ashamed of telling my family members my grades, and I felt like sh** and a disappointment. I felt like doing some horrible things to myself at the point and stopped going out to family events. My parents always tried comparing me to my cousins, who are a lot smarter than me, and kept saying, "They are going to get into the likes of Cambridge and Oxford, and you are going to get into a non-respected university like MMU, where if you get a degree, it won't be recognized." I just felt hopeless. My family is not financially well, or you could say there are on benefits and if you are from the uk you’ll know what they are. They kept applying this agenda to me: "If you don't do well in school, you'll end up like us. If anyone has good recommendations on good universities that don't require A-level math and are respected like my parents say, please let me know. It will be greatly appreciated, and hopefully I won't be a disappointment like they say.

And sorry if I didn't proof read this I just had to let this all out.

Yeah, I know the feeling.

Consider the following:

https://www.ncl.ac.uk/undergraduate/degrees/g400/

I don't know how close Cambridge Technicals are to say BTEC, but it's worth asking universities about this. If this is the case, you would have significantly more options.

Sorry I didn’t expand on this very well but it is a level 3 Btec national extended diploma so it is 3-a-levels and thank you for link I will see it through and see if I meet the criteria.

In which case...

https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/courses/2024/computer-science-bsc-hons#entry-requirements (need A Level Computer Science if not doing A Level Maths)
https://www.qmul.ac.uk/undergraduate/coursefinder/courses/2024/computer-science/ (maybe)
https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/bsc-computing-science-with-a-year-in-industry/2024-25/sep#entry_requirements

There should be others, but the above shoud get you going.

Do note, I did not include the degrees with integrated foundation years where you are not usually required to have A Level Maths.

Personally, I think doing A Level Maths on top would open you to pretty much any computer science degree so long you get high enough grades. It will save you the headache.

I noticed that you added "if not doing a-level maths" so the links above are for a-level maths correct because I haven't got an interest in a-level maths as I am awful at maths in the first place, secondly the offers for Nottingham shows you need a D*D*D grade with a 4 in English and a 5 in maths or above, But what I have is a 5 in English(Lit)(4 Language) and also a 4 in maths. If I were to get the correct btec It extended national diploma Grades would I get accepted or even considered by them.
