How to get into experiential marketing?
Hello! I think I’m in a bit of a difficult situation. I applied to my 5 universities for event management. The events I’ve always wanted to work in was the more fun ones, product launches and marketing. I thought these come under event manegement and I still think they are but I’m now thinking I should’ve just applied for marketing? I have already received a conditional and unconditional offer but willing to cancel my application and do a new one for marketing only. I really want to get into experiential marketing, I’m so happy I’ve found the career I’ve wanted but annoyed I’ve realised what it is after my application. Experiential marketing is aka event marketing.
So my question is, could I get into this sort of marketing with event management degree with hopefully a masters in marketing. Or strictly marketing only? Thanks
