Dentistry extracurriculars

Hi all I was wonder if anyone had any ideas for dental extra/supercurriculars I could do for my application. Please can any dental students write down what extracurriculars / volunteering they did. I've tried to volunteer at a carehome but there's none accepting volunteers atm where I live. I was wondering would working as a cafe assistant & tutor make up for not volunteering in a carehome, as they both showcase communication & people skills.

Does anyone have any ideas of health related extracurriculars I can do

So far I've done:

Volunteered at Oxfam

•

Tutor kids (8-10 yr olds)

•

Cafe assistant (barrista, cook & waitress)

•

Citizen science project in preventing tooth decay in children led by university of leeds

•

MedDent society at sixth form

•

Art club at sixth form (3 months) (painting & drawing)

•

I've done 2 days of wex in a community dental clinic & I've booked 2 weeks in a GDP & 1 week in a dental hospital
