Masters funding after PCDL

Hi,

I started a Masters in 2012 and received a PCDL loan to pay for it. I did not complete my course due to health issues.

I'm wondering whether I would be eligible to receive funding for a new (taught) Masters, or whether my previous PCDL would rule me out?

I was unable to find an answer on the student finance site.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi there,

What level was the previous Masters course? You are only eligible for Masters funding once, but if no degree was gained you can look at getting funding back. You will need to apply for Compelling Personal Reasons to be eligible again, do you have any evidence from when you withdrew due to health? This would be doctors letters, GP letters? Thanks, Ross
