Funding for PGCE after a masters?

Hey everyone, I'm currently a third year undergrad, I was wondering if anyone knows if I would be able/eligible to get funding if I did a PGCE after a masters?

So if I did: 2017-18 - MA Literature

2018-19 - PGCE Secondary English

would I be eligible for funding for both of these? I've read conflicting things and would like clarification. Basically I can't decide if I want to pursue a PhD and if I decide I don't want to after an MA then I can just do secondary teaching.

Thanks!
Most likely yes, but contact SFE to double check.

You can definitely get the postgraduate loan after the PGCE.

PGCE funding is independent of other forms of Student Finance, so yes. You can get funding for a PGCE before a Masters, after a Masters or after a PhD. None of your previous loans are taken into account and a PGCE loan won't affect your future funding.
What if you did the PGCE and then the Master's?

I am considering going through clearing to study PGCE in Sept 2017 and then doing a MSc in Sept 2018. The reason for this is the new funding proposals being made for Master's courses in 2018.
What did you end up doing?did you get the funding?help a girl out 🥲

Did you manage to work it out in the end? I’m currently (albeit for a later year) encountering the same conundrum.
