EPQ

I am applying to the University of Tokyo and Lausanne and was wondering if they accept the EPQ because I am doing Philosophy, Psychology and Economics and was debating between doing the EPQ or Music Tech(as it is a passion of mine) and I do not know if these universities accept the EPQ and if there is any point in doing it.

I think your best bet is to ask them and then consider which you'd actually most enjoy. Music is probably more transferable as EPQ could be a bit too broad, generally universities don't ask what you do in an EPQ so they may not consider it. 🤷
