Is there a chance that the university of Edinburgh will reconsider my application?

I just got rejected by the university of Edinburgh. They asked for an additional information on my predicted grades, and they wanted it by 14 March, but my referee quitted school just before the university contacted me. So, I did contact my school staff for that and did send the document to the university. However, I sent it exactly on 14 March, not knowing that I should send the document 3-5 days before the deadline since it takes around 3-5 days for them to receive the email. I acknowledged that this is my bad, but I really want to know whether they will receive the email and reconsider my application or not?
