english lit a level aqa essay help!!

Hi, I've been consistently getting like 21-25 on essays. And all of a sudden one dropped to 19. I don't know how I've gotten worse?? If anyone has any help, or experienced anything similar I would be grateful. My exam is in less than a month and I'm freaking out lol. The whole 'perceptive' thing is so difficult to understand how to do?
