Can you please provide a full list of exception courses available for student finance as a second degree ?

Witch ones are available for full time funding (tuition fees and maintenance loan) ?

Hi there,

This is determined by what you wish to study.

Full time exception courses are

graduate entry medicine and dentistry

postgraduate pre-registration healthcare

subjects allied to medicine

initial teacher training

architecture


and part time courses are

Medicine and Dentistry (CAH01)

Subjects allied to medicine (CAH02)

Biological and Sport Science (CAH03)

Psychology (CAH04)

Veterinary Sciences (CAH05)

Agriculture, food and related sciences (CAH06)

Physical Sciences (CAH07)

General and others in sciences (CAH08)

Mathematical Sciences (CAH09)

Engineering and Technology (CAH10)

Computing (CAH11)

Geography, Earth and Environmental Studies (CAH12)


The funding available is dependant on what you wish to study. If there's a specific course then do let us know. Thanks, Jason

Hi there,

Psychology courses are only exceptions when studied part-time.

So, if you were do do a course like this part-time you should be entitled to the Tuition Fee Loan for the duration, plus a Maintenance Loan so long as the course isn't distance learning.
