Bar course

Hi all,

Currently on the bar course…. It’s exam time. There seems to be an indication I have seen that if you fail more than 1 exam on first attempt you can’t get higher than a competent overall, can anyone tell me if this is accurate. Rather face the blow now than wait till May.

Not sure what the rules are now but it was the case on the BPTC if you failed more than two on first attempt your grade was capped at 'competent' so sounds about right. It should be in the BSB guidelines somewhere
Yes, it is worth checking the current guidelines and rules, but it certainly did used to be the case that your overall grade would be capped, and I'm not aware of it having changed. Your tutors will know.
