can you do a pgce with a degree in accounting/business management?

Yes but you will need to do a PGCE after completing your degree.

You probably can, though I guess you would only be able to teach Business Studies and the like...obviously. (!)

It is not unusual to teach secondary mathematics with an accounting degree.
