UCAS Extra Situation

I'm torn as to what to do. I received an offer to study Maths through UCAS Extra, but I've found a better university with grades I can achieve if I work for it. My unit scores for Maths, Biology and Chemistry are all really good, but I'm worried about the other uni 'filling up' once I've rejected my current offer.

So my question is, is there any way I can try to secure a place off of UCAS to save my gambling my current offer? Has anyone had experience with this already?

Contact the uni you want to apply to and see if they have spaces and if they would consider you. You would need to reject your current offer before you officially gained an offer, but they may be willing to informally discuss your chances
