Hello

I just got my international baccalaureate results and have been rejected by Manchester because I didn't meet the entry requirements

The course I want to apply for is Optometry, I know on the page it says

"re-sit applicants are not normally considered"

But I had an offer from them, can I still re apply and then take my retake and hoepfully get in 2010?

I would get in contact with them and see what they say, because if they don't then there is no point in actually wasting a choice.

It's likely that unless there were mitigating circumstances to explain your not getting the required grades, they won't consider you as a resit applicant. The only way to be sure is to ring them and check. Don't just re-apply and hope as the chances are that it will prove to be a wasted choice.

Just found out that they don't! But Bradford does, so fingers crossed x
