Open Days at University College London

Visiting UCL is really the best way to find out whether it's the right place for you to study. The university organises tours of the campus and its facilities, and also arranges subject talks so you can get a better understanding of the sort of thing you'll be learning about.

Read our guide to open days for more information what to expect when you visit a university.

Open days at University College London take place throughout the course of the year, with the next undergraduate day taking place on 26 June 2014. If you can't make that day or wish to visit before then, you can take a self-guided tour at any time or arrange a tour led by a current student.

For postgraduate students, open days for specific departments are held throughout the year.

Term dates

The academic year at UCL is divided up into three terms, with some exceptions for those on medical degrees. For the 2014/2015 year the dates are as follows:

  • Term 1: 22 September - 12 December 2014
  • Term 2: 12 January - 27 March 2015
  • Term 3: 27 April - 12 June 2015

Students on Masters degrees will study for a full calendar year, as will medicine students in their fourth, fifth or sixth year.
