Open Days at University of Oxford

The university of Oxford open days are a great opportunity for you to experience what the university is like and why you should choose to study there.

Picking the right course to study is one of the most important decisions you will have to make. Open days allow you to attend taster lectures and talk to the academic staff and students to further your knowledge of the course you would like to enroll in.

You can also tour the colleges and find out which one you think would be your preferred choice to be part of and live in. There a lots of colleges so some research before you attend is advised.

There are a number of other turs and facilities to explore on the open days including the sports complex and The Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers museums.

    Students, parents and teachers are invited to spend a whole day in Oxford, attending events, talking to staff and students and getting answers to any questions which remain after examining prospectuses and websites.

    Unlike many other university open days, it is not mandatory to book to attend an Oxford Open Day. Many events are offered on a drop-in basis. However we strongly advise that you check the programme on offer at your subject department and at colleges you are considering as some do require booking for certain events.
