I'm sure you'll get a good few marks for that, cos you wrote out all possibilities and all probabilites, you just didnt apply it to the range.


yeh like i wrote out a beautifully perfect distribution for the WRONG FRIGGING THING ....all adding nicely up to 1.... so how many marks will i have lost? also, was it out of 6 or 8?

argh stats is so annoying to interpret sometimes.

Did anyone else do this as an AS module not having done s1. I thought the test was horrible! Whats the general feeling?
I'm guessing we don't have a mark scheme yet because no-one can do the last question to post one xD

SAME! i did it for the totals, 3,4,5 and 6 haha, it was worded horrile, i thought they wer the range of values the numbers could be. I remember thinking, they cant possibly mean the range between 2's and 1's

I typed in all my answers in stat mode in my calculator. Not sure about the question numbers and some of them were wordy/algebraic so I don't have those.

Wasn't the question after 0.8088 (question 2b im assuming) supposed to be 0.8088 squared = 0.6542?

I can't say for sure... I dno. It was 6 I think, and I dno how the marks are allocated, but I think you may get a few cos you did some of the steps.

8 if I remember a was 5 and b was 3
