Difference between International Politics and IR

To me it seems as if International Politics and International Relations is the exact same course, especially because the modules overlap. Can someone tell me where's the difference?

I don't get why you think loads of the modules overlap?

IR modules: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/prospectus/undergraduate/structure/name/international-relations/alpha/GHI/header_search/

IP modules:
http://www.kcl.ac.uk/prospectus/undergraduate/structure/name/international-politics/alpha/I/header_search/

They are massively different in content. IR is mainly taught by the War Studies Department whilst the IP course is mainly taught by School of Social Science and Public Policy and the Department of Political Economy
