Boyfriend birthday

It's my boyfriend's birthday in just over a week, but he has an exam on that day, I'm not sure what to do as he might want to celebrate it with friends, I've given him his presents in advance so he can concentrate on his exam.

Any ideas on what I should do? And even if he did want to spend the evening with his friends, I will be fine with that. I always get time with him after or before.

Just ask him what he wants to do.
