Yo guys Assuming we're on about OCR.... what did everyone put for movement analysis: the plantar flexion of the ankle? i put gastrocnemius and tibilas anterior, however my friend put gastrocnemius and soleus!! help lol How did the rest of the exam go for you? Have you noticed previous grade boundaries are really low, like 50/90 for an A... Im worried this made me too relaxed when it came to revision
Edexcel paper was actually tough. Big marks given to static and PNF characteristics. It's not something that we spent a lot of time on, defo didn't expect 8-10 marks given.

What on earth was rise of sports star like?
LITERALLY NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE? I guessed like ''endorsements, media, role models...'' I can't remember what else I wrote I just had to write something lmao

None of my mates seen it either, nor did the lecturer.
It could be what you said or could be talent ID and such. Hate questions that are there to trick. It's just not clear what they are asking. Our teacher looked in the spec after the exam and 'rise of sports star' is wrote like that, but nothing, literally nothing follows it, no detail or examples. Could be asking anything!

I actually read the spec yesterday and saw it, I looked up information in the book and the Internet and nothing really appeared...

I know our lecturer was raging as he couldn't even find a shread of content linked to the term. I guess it's in the 20tj century section so the rise of media and rewards could be applicable.

I wrote 4 completely different random answers, probably one was right
Another question... what did you put for static stretching? because it was 4 marks heheheh
I wrote: Taking the muscle to its elastic limit and holding it there. this stretch can pe performed actively and passively. Explained Active and passive stretching. mentioned it was the most popular method of stretching

Do you think its enough?
Yeah, sounds spot on that. I didnt put elastic limit. Was tough like, characteristics and disadvantages.
I thought it was a tough test. Like use said, the rise of sports stars was tricky. I thought it was stupid putting down 5 marks for the training to train phase..what all could you write to get 5 marks for it :/

That's what I thought, I only remembered the main parts of each LTAD stage thinking they'd ask us for the whole lot so I could ony say 1-2 points haha

The important thing to mention there was that that stage was the 3rd stage for late specialisation and the 1st stage in the early specialisation, in my opinion of course, I'm not the mark scheme hehehe
