How much maths is involved in the ACCA?

And how hard is the qualification in general?

What can I do with the qualification other than accounting?

Not much math involved.

Difficulty is relative to the individual. I would say the content isn't that difficult, but there's a lot of content to get to grips with. The quality of your tuition and factors like study time also make a difference.

It's primarily for accounting really.

Thanks for your reply. Suppose I'm not sure what field I want to specialise in within the Finance industry. Do you think it's worth me taking the qualification if I've been offered?

Also, in order to get the qualification, do you need to pass every exam?

Hard to say. It's a big commitment over 3 years, but generally speaking it'll look good on a CV. Of course "finance" is a broad term, some of which has no relevance to accountancy. Particularly if what you actually mean is Financial Services.

That said, if you're doing the same job regardless but have the option of getting a professional qualification at the same time, why not!

You do have to pass all the exams, although you can do retakes if you don't pass first time.
Do you get study help from tutors online or in a class or is it all solo?

Depends on who you train with. Usually you would take tuition, some firms send you to F2F classes for all exams, others mix F2F and online tuition. You can do it without tuition, although I believe that's unusual.
