When you finally get the proof just right

After allt he bs of prrof by induction i've finally done 1 whole question by myself.

Well done on doing your first full proof!

Being picky, your final line should be a bit clearer:

Instead of "if true for n = 1" say something like "since true for n = 1... "

The point is that you've already proved true for n = 1 and this along with the inductive step proves the statement for all positive integers. *

As you practice you'll spot every trick in the book.
Sometimes it helps to write down your desired end result for n = k + 1 so you can work towards it, it's surprisingly handy if you're ever seriously stuck.
