Thanks :smile:
Could anyone help me with my hw, I've only been doing greek for a few months, and I suck at remembering the endings for everything, and also the vocab. My homework is to translate English into Greek :frown:

Please Help, It's due in tomorrow, and I'm also doing it alongside my A-Levels.

The people on the island said that they were in danger.
The women said that they would send letters.
Did you say that the battle had ceased, messenger?

Thank you so much!

FYI, It's all about indirect statements using 'that' clauses.
Oh god...okay...here goes!

oi demoi en nesos eipon oti oi esan en kinduno
ai yunai eipon oti ai pempswsi epistulas
ara leyeis oti o mache epauto, w angele;

I never actually translated from English to Greek but I've given it a go (not sure all the grammar is right & don't have a textbook to check!) but hopefully at least some of it is helpful! and hope you can get the idea from this alphabet haha :tongue:

I messed up Greek language paper 1 a tiny weeny bit so no 400 for me (annoying because I got 100 in Greek paper 2) - but I have made some long notes for the Greek text if you want them. We did Herodotus.
