Places like a local restaurant tend to always be after waiters/waitresses, so just pop in and ask! If you're after a but more money, try places like Costa & Starbucks - they tend to offer the living wage regardless of age.

Not many high street shops, in fact, close to none, will offer weekend-only jobs, so you would have to be a bit more flexible. Smaller businesses may be more accommodating.

When I was at uni I worked as a Merchandise Assistant for gigs and concerts - selling t-shirts and swag etc. It worked perfectly with my student life at shifts didn't start until late evening. Maybe check out your local gig centres to see if they're hiring?
