Queen Mary Uni London Freshers Megathread 2016

Did anyone need to take GCSE certificates?

It isn't listed on the pre-enrolment certificate, but it's listed on the website as an academic qualification you need to bring, but unfortunately my school is really rubbish at handing out certificates. Despite continuing on in their sixth form for 2 years, they never thought to hand me my GCSE certificates, and I emailed them almost 2 weeks ago asking for them and the still haven't replied.

I do have my GCSE results slip, but if it's required to bring along the certificates I will have to invade the school on monday and demand them to give it to me.

I would be forever grateful if someone clears this up for me

Thank you! My friend emailed QMUL admissions and they mentioned that they required GCSE certificates, and I freaked out to say the least. They didn't ask for academic qualifications at all?

Did u book for early enrollment?

They don't check your results? Even for A-levels? If they don't for A-levels I'll be so happy. Don't want anyone hearing my *****ing ABB grade lol

I think it's because it's already declared with UCAS, so proof doesn't need to be shown

No, it is only the qualifications your offer was based on. If you are a UK student and applied through UCAS you shouldn't need any certificates, even A-Levels, as they should have conformations of your grades through UCAS.

Thank you very much! I did apply through UCAS, so I hope that means they won't be asking for any qualifications.

I booked my enrolment at 10.15
I went there at 12
You can honestly go at anytime you want, there's no register
