Questions about Brookes.

Just thought i should ask a few questions about Brookes internet as it is something that i use regularly at home. I manily want to know whats allowed/disallowed when it comes to content on the internet.
Are music downloads allowed if they are legal/ illegal, how about internet gaming, pornography, BBC Iplayer, 4OD, are there any restrictions to user content?
Is it wireless or hardwired?
How much does it cost?
What are the internet speeds like?

Are you talking about your own internet connection in your room? Or the shared computer facilities?

If you mean in your room, I don't think anyone can have control over what you look at.

If you mean the shared computers, I'm pretty sure you won't be allowed to download music illegally or look at porn.

There were no internet blockers in the rooms in halls, but the staff didn't like you sucking up the bandwidth for games. 4OD and all worked well. You're not supposed to do anything illegal, but I don't know what happens if you do.

As paperflowers says there were no internet blockers. Just don't consume tons of bandwidth and your computer need to be virus free as it can affect the entire network. It's wired in the room.
