Good point, in that case I would definitely take up IGCSE in physics as if the BMAT proves beneficial this year (which it probably will), apparently all UK medical schools will set the test next year 
thank god i applied to med sch this year then!
u shld do physics at IGCSE cos u have to have atleast double science award at gcse for medicine. but u dont have 2 do it at alevel - do maths instead? and u can do geography becos alot unis now like students with humanities subjects.. well supposedly
