Summer assignments

Anyone been given summer assignments by the 6th form/college you're off to? If so, what have you been told to do? :smile:

I for one have to do some essay on a poem of my choice for English as well as read 3 books. For Classics, again, to read. For Biology, review some topics taught in GCSEs. And for Economics, to read this book recommended.

Nothing specific which I'm pleased about. But we were given some suggested reading tasks which I've gotten stuck into, but then I read quite a lot.

A friend applying to another sixth form had proper projects to do though.

Nope, fortunatley as I know if I had I would be spending Wednesday and Thursday this week rushing to get it all done :p:

I may go over some GCSE maths though before I forget everything we did :o:

Bio - make a presentation/notes on Eukaryotic cells
Chem - 74931947694789 million questions from the textbook (seriously, read up to page 23, with every page having a section for questions :eek:

Nuttin for maths except "revise" but allow lol.
And I duno what I'm going for my 4th option (geog or psychologyyy) so meh.
Oh, and I might drop Critical Thinking - it's just finding an example of a good and bad argument.

It says on the "prep" sheets that I'm to spend no more than 4 hours on each subject. LOL THATS MORE THAN I SPENT REVISING FOR THEM IN JUNE COMBINED XD
