DiDA results

Hi,
i got my dida result last thursday and on my d201 project the grade on the sheet said M, unless i am mistaken that means Merit equivalent to an A. However my teacher told me I had definately got a distinction equivalent to an A* as my school does not have to send of samples. Can anyone enlighten me as to what I should do or have i read the page incorrectly?

Your teacher marks your project gives a grade ranging from Distinction, Merit, Credit & Pass.

However, it must be sent off to be moderated.

What may have happened is that the moderator marked it down from your teacher's recommended grade.

It averages out.

I did CIDA+ and got D,D,M but I got 3 A*'s

apparently our school received an award from the examining body for marking so well over the past few years so they didn't have to send them off to be moderated.
