The Student Room Group

Hating 2nd year

I've moved into a house and it's so boring! The 'friends' I thought would be ok are really fecking weird. It's a mixture of guys and gals from my course - as I thought I'd take a break from my flatmates. Bad decision! The lads are just in the living room on their laptops all day, making it really awkward. I always get to sit on the stool as the seats are hogged.

Other than that they're just really weird! They don't have normal conversations, they ask 21 questions and each person has to answer :s-smilie: I'm hating it.

Other than this it's so boring - it's nothing like last year :frown:

...Thought this would actually be related to university, not just what you think of your housemates... all I can suggest is try and socialise with them more, bring them out of their shells, or move out when you contract runs out in a vew months (assuming you haven't paid a whole year's rent).

From experience - bugger friends in the second year. Get your arse into gear early, you'll need it.

Don't know why I've even replied to this really. You've hardly got problems.
