So I just joined Greenpeace online...

When do I get to start protesting in opposition to the government. I really feel like going into my town centre and protesting for dolphins, pollution or some other eco stuff and annoying the people who walk by but I'm to much of a chicken to do anything by myself. :rolleyes:

I am a member of Greenpeace but i think what you need to do is join a LOCAL group if you want to get active. Donating online doesn't sound like what you are looking for. To get actually involved, step it up and find a local group - they have one in my ****** town, they are bound to have them all over the place. Greenpeacers are known for being pretty active so you'll probably have something to go to in the first month if you wanted.

I did. I joined the local birmingham and black country community but they haven't got any meetings scheduled. :frown:

Don't you find it a bit hypercritical of yourselves to stage these huge protests on buildings like parliament over pollution and then you cause police helicopters to be despatched and cars to keep you safe - which is in fact causing more 'unnecessary pollution' ? :s-smilie:
