but that assumes tht everyone is like you.

rather stupid assumption for anyone wif any sense to make.
perhaps its not a bad assumption for an 11 year old, but it constantly astounds me 'ow anyone over that age can 'old these views.

You may need to attend a "learn to recognize sarcasm" class, and meanwhile you're at it pop in to learn some proper english or to even just type it. seriously go find a thread where you're useful.... if it exists.

No ****, Sherlock. :holmes:

What was the point of that post? Seriously. (aside from trying to write 'clever')

Clear case of PMS
Woody asked what the point of the method was so I was trying to cut it down for him
No need to be so rude

I sincerely doubt London universities have any more of a drinking culture to other places. On the contrary if anything there would be less drinking involved (too expensive).

Ranking are virtually meaningless, as you can tell with the vast discrepancies between the various papers, and, if you look in detail at the way they rank them, the extreme arbitrariness of the point system.

That said; there is obviously some difference between Oxbridge/Russell Group/1994 Group universities and some of the lower ranked ones.

if the differnces are so obvious, perhaps you'd like to tell us specifically what they are, say between BSMS and UCL.

Well given that past papers of comparable material is not that easy to get hold of, I for one have certainly never 'compared' ou papers to anyone elses. The point of medical education is universality - that F1s from all schools would have enough knowledge to handle a pt in much the same way. Ok, there will be differences dependent on what particular people have seen, but the discrepency is nothing compared to further practice.

Whilst it is true that some schools teach basic science in more detail, I would ask how many tmes knowing whehter the Red Nucleus projects into some structure or other is actually going to be of import. It is true that sometimes small text knowledge can have big returns, but medical education is designed to be a scaffold for further learning, not be an exhaustive enclycopedic knowledge.

i see your only answer is to continue waving the 'Russel Group' banner.

funny seeing as the universities in the russell group applied that label to themselves, essentially a bit like you calling yourself eavyweight champion of the world.

I wasn't aware you had asked a question. I can't figure out what has inspired such aggression?
Reply 98
'its no problem, macca' isnt an aggressive statement. why you choose to misinterprt a friendly mesage as an aggressive one, i'm not sure, but its probably becos you are avoiding the question i asked you.#

if you ave short term memmory problems and so 'ave legitmately forgotten the question, its there for everyone to see on the last page, but i repeat it 'why is (a russel group institute) ucl better than BSMS?

you may wish to continue ignoring the question if you cant offer an answer.

so, still waiting.....(as predicted hehe)
