Maths Problem help please :)

Im stuck on the second part but ill write it all:

if A =
[ 1 0 0
-1 -2 -1
2 3 2 ]

thats a matrix.

Show that A^3 - A = A^2 - I

So i managed to do that bit with multiplying but here the tricky bit.

Prove by induction that for every integer >= 3, A^n - A^(n-2) = A^2 - I

Hence find A^100

Strugling with the proof any help will be appreciated.

Thanks alot
Blair
