Why does UCAS update at odd times?

mine most recently updated at 04:33 - why is this?

has anyone noticed a pattern or something similar?

Well that's odd - they say it updates instantaneously. Perhaps an admissions tutor couldn't sleep?

Hi,

We email you within 15 minutes of the Uni letting us know.

Some Uni's must schedule their update routines to run in the early hours of the morning.

i had one at the end of 08 that came through on christmas day :biggrin:

the email musta been delayed, i assume the ucas was updated the day before maybe

That could be right for 2008 - we only recently changed this to email more frequently.
