Reporting for duty.
People's views are stronger through a keyboard rather than face to face.

Is this something to do with anonymity?

I doubt people would say half the **** they say on here, in real life.

In the right situation (a formal debate, for example), they probably would.

Pretentious high-minded psuedo-intellectual liberals with naive idealism, safely mollycoddled by the welfare state in Higher Education, waiting to be broken by the cold, iron grip of the real world and realising they will be bloody lucky to have access to the Internet once a week soon enough, let alone splurging their opinion out on student forums.
