Thanks dude I think by seeing this of what I remember I got round 16 wrong however Im not giving any marks for working I am aiming for an A* Hopefully I still get it. By the way by your standards was this a hard paper? I did not find it hard just made a couple of stupid mistakes that cost me Big time.
P.S i usually do way beter on the calc paper hopefully I do cause i really need an A* in this just the exams kill me.

For the last question, I got the answer wrong, but do you get marks for working out?

Yes - obviously it depends on exactly what you put.

76/100 but one question i solved the quadratic equation but I did not understand what it meant by "show" and I accidental wrote 8 as the answer I didn't realise it said x + 4, also would I get marks for making a tree diagram for the probability part. And I didn't have time to do the last one and just wrong angles on a straight light = 180 when a tangent and radius meet 90 degrees would i got marks? And for the pentagon i did not realise it said exterior so i just found the interior 36 degree angels would I get any marks.
I got 28/90 instead of 14/45 as I didn't cancel it down as it didn't say too would I still get full marks on that question?

for the Stem and leaf the key was for the weight (grams) not amount of eggs

You won't get anything for the x + 4 part.

You will get some marks for a tree diagram if it was substantially right (you don't need a tree diagram by the way).

Tangent and radius perpendicular will be worth 1 mark.

Interior angles are 108 degrees not 36 degrees so I don't know if you will have got anything there.
what was the circle theorem question again, it seems i got it wrong but i don't really remember it so could anyone post it or something....

True. I will edit this.

Oh thanks, I was just wondering since the answer was blatent and (b) and (c) were worth 4 marks would I get 3 for solving the equation? thanks!

there is one mistake in the answers given....a lot of the questions in this paper were in modular as well. square root of 64 isnt 8...its + or - 8; q24 ii.
Did anyone sit the modular exam instead?
Reply 16
HUzzah, it was 29, not 32.
Also I put 6.3333 recurring instead of 6 1/3 but its the same answer just in differen't form so would I still get the marks. Also I think I got around 88 marks.

No it isn't. The square root function is positive by definition.

If the question said solve x2=64x^2 = 64 your answer would be correct but the question did not say that.

That's fine.
