Applying for level 3 btec at 26 years old without the required gcse

Hi Im 26 years old and have been working for Essex Police for the last 4 years. I have decided I want to pursue a different career in media make up. I want to apply for a btec level 3 course Which the entry requirements are 4 gsce at grade c and above. I have 3! Would they overlook this as I am 26 and for some uni courses mature students can apply without some formal qualifications.

yes u will be alright, however have you already applied would it not be full time course? or will u be taking it part time which would take longer than 2 years as its 2 year course?

Also when you talk or write your application to them you just say why u want to do the course and why have u decided to change career path :smile:

as you ve already has job this should help you out as well
