Those of you studying law, how much work experience has everyone got to put on their personal statement?

Just generally want to get an idea :smile:

I didn't have any when I applied. I don't think that they expect you to have any at that stage, although it would help your application of course.

I spent a week at a local solicitors firm :smile:

I think it's a good idea to get some experience before you apply, because it will look great on your application (especially if you are aplying to top universities) and it's also a good networking opportunity (ever heard of the phrase 'it's not WHAT you know; its WHO you know'? ...Well I believe it's a bit of both!)
