Re your grid! I just finished mine - It was quite daunting at first. This is roughly what I done - Hope it is of help.
Worked out the box given @ start using the theory of multiplying the diagonals & progress on to more 2x2 boxes .Put results into table form & see if there is any patterns. Then progress to 3x3 up to 10 x 10 boxes. You will see patterns .Check with rectangle boxes up to 9x10 again tabulate the results. When you have got your results put into Algebriac form
