Just seen Dalglish, Clarke and Comoli at DW stadium... can see why the former two are there, because we playing Wigan on Weds, but why is Damien there? for same reason or are we in for someone? or just for fun?

For the same reason. Wigan is close by so the three can discuss whatever they want during the game.
Good chance for us to close the gap on 4th tomorrow, but we need Arsenal and Spurs to drop points too and for us to win!

Tbh the aim is to finish 4th.
Man City/Utd are too far in advance, Spurs have a few games in hand.
That leaves 4th spot for Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal. If Arsenal win their game in hand, they move to 32 points with Chelsea.
On that basis, we need to win today to close the game to 3 points.
Really hope we win today and Downing does well!

With Bent and Agbonlahor out of the side, Petrov is the only Villa player who has scored more than 1 goal in the league.
Bit risky playing Shelvey I would have thought, but looking at Villa and who's missing, combined with your defensive record...you'll walk this and it's the perfect game to play Shelvey.
