Heriot-Watt's reputation for Mechanical Engineering
As the title states, I have received an offer from there to study there and was wondering about its reputation as I don't much about Scottish Unis. It does claim to be one of the top five unis in Scotland though

The complete uni guide ranks heriot-watt for mech eng 4th in scotland and 29th in the uk for 2011 and 20th in the uk for 2012. So yeah it seems quite decent. Just depends who else you got an offer from.
