Whenever a lecturer says "Don't talk in my lecture, if you want to talk you can leave" I'm always really tempted to walk out.

I mean, I'd prefer it if everyone had their mouths super glued shut during lectures because I am one of those annoying people who are actually there to learn, but I still get tempted to walk out.

I got my nose pierced today. I kept changing my mind whether I wanted to or not. Too nervous. Today I decided I did want it and sprinted over to Blue Banana before I changed my mind. They had an offer on, buy one get one free, and I was going to split with a flatmate, but she had hers done earlier that day when I had said I didn't want to. Luckily, another flatmate turned up and he was getting his lip pierced so I split it with him. Four of us from this corridor got pierced today lol

What's Wolves Uni like? I lived in Wolves all my life, until I moved away for uni, but I've never actually looked around there...

Its alright. My accomadation is a little shabby, but it is the economy accomadation. All the lecture halls and sports hall and practical suites are pretty standard tbh.

The decor is a little depressing, its definatly not state of the art or winning any design awards, but after a while you dont notice that. Unless you're having a bad day. Then Wolverhampton can seem pretty s**t, but I suppose thats true of anywhere if you're in a bad mood.

Haha, tell me about it, I'm at Keele so I'm living in Stoke-on-Trent at the moment, and THAT is shabby. It's like someone took a paintbrush and decided everything should look of grey and desperation. They even have a statue by the train station which says: 'A Man Can't Fly'. That, too, is grey.

Only way people would ever stay there. Worst thing is: it's opposite a sixth form centre.
I spent 40 minutes reading this. Keep it up!

Tequila and lemonade works. Be careful not to overdo the tequila or it will go bitter.

Just went into the kitchen at 3am to find two of my flatmates and one friend baking a cake. Tasted great though!

Lol sorry I dont always have a lot to say...
lets have a look.

I couldnt go out monday night as I always have 9am lectures on tuesdays, and im not generally the kind of person who misses lectures. Anyway, I seemed to miss a helluva night as everyone had a lot of fun... right up until one of my flatmates brained himself on a doorway. Basically my friend stretched her legs across the hallway and he needed to get past. If he was sober he would have stepped over her, but because he was drunk he tried to jump and he jumped right into a doorway because he's so tall and ended up in A&E. It seemed to be pretty bad because he couldnt sleep for 24hr (until 6am wednesday) and couldnt watch any screens or read books or do anything too exciting or even be alone, he had to be constantly supervised.

A while back I think I mentioned my best friend and her boyfriend were a bit on/off in thier relationship. They keep on having deep conversations and deciding to get back together, or break up again. Well I say 'keep' but theyve only been in a relationship then broken up twice so far. They did have a conversation where they decided to get back together, but then he brained himself on a doorway and cant really remember the conversation. Or anything that day. I think it might just have been tiredness though, because it was right at the end of the 24hrs he had to stay awake when he said that. And its not as if he woke up and then hit his head, so he had probably been awake for 36 hours straight when he said that. Bound to be a bit forgetful. I hope its that anyway. He was the one who broke up with her and then got jealous when she kissed another guy, after he got off with someone else first. Then they decided to get back together, then he hit his head.

Anyway, on tuesday I had a 9am but I woke up at 8.15 and I dont know about you but even standing up takes twice as long that early in the mornings. I am not good in mornings. I didnt have a chance to eat and I thought I wouldnt get a chance to eat until 1 but luckily our tutorial was online so I could get back home and sleep  Had another lecture at 2 so I couldnt sleep long though :frown:

Went out tuesday night to Walkabout, which is fairly standard because thats when they have thier student nights with all the £1 drinks. Not all drinks are £1, its a pattern repeated across all clubs;
£1 vodka and mixer, malibu and mixer, archers and mixer, wild shots, some VKs
£2 - £2.50 jagerbombs

I did make out with one guy (I need to stop making out with random guys in clubs, its not going to get me a great reputation) but tbh it was only to help a friend, he wasnt all that great. I didnt get his number. Basically, my flatmate was flirting with a guy, then that guy's mate came over and I thought he was going to drag away the guy my flatmate was working with. So I distracted the mate for half an hour. I know... I'm so generous, always helping out a friend in need :colondollar:

Mostly I was trying to chase this girl. A friend of a friend, she told me she was gay, her friend said she was single, she was cute... but I dont know how to flirt with girls. Guys I know how to flirt with, the ones in clubs are basically only looking for one thing so its easy to meet them halfway, you just have to let them know you're intrested. Anyway, that was fun for a while, but I got a bit drunker than I intended and mostly wandered around feeling very lost, even though I knew exactly where I was and go there every week. I couldnt find any of my friends for long, they kept wandering off, or else I did.

I did find my best friend's friend from her course. He's quite cute, so I thought I might flirt with him but then I remembered he's seeing someone. Only later I found he might not be. Another relationship best filed under 'its complicated' Anyway I brought him back to say hi to her.

Everyone was very quite and generally worn out today. I mostly looked like this -> :couchpotato: lol I really dont know why I was so tired because, even accounting for that 8am firealarm I still had a good 10hr sleep. I woke up as 5pm so I ended up making enchiladas for breakfast.

The girl down the hall really annoyed me today. She put a load of chips and oil into a saucepan, turned it on to max, and left the kitchen! She didnt come back until the oil was bubbling. That is so dangerous, once oil is hot enough it takes like 2 minutes to catch fire, it doesnt need a spark. When I tried to explain it to her she just said "I knew I'd be back before they were done" and then walked out halfway through my sentence! If she cares enough the taste of frying chips vs oven chips to go to all that trouble, she needs to take care of it. TBH no-one likes that particular flatmates very much anyway, she has her own set of friends and doesnt socialise with us.

Then I went into my kitchen at 3am today and found my flatmates baking a cake. It tasted great.

Ive been spending too much lately I need to cut back a little. I think I might be alright next week, the problem this week was I spent £30 on food but I bought enough that I should spend a helluva lot less next week. I guess I'll just eat some of those noodles my parents sent me.

Also we've failed our kitchen inspection 3 weeks in a row, but they give us 24hr before they reassess us and if we dont tidy and fail again then we get fined £15 each. Its just two people in our flat that does it, each of us eithier doesnt use the kitchen much or always cleans up after ourselves and takes our stuff back to our rooms.

Is that a bit less bare?

remember him?

I met up with him again on Thursday at Planet, and we started making out. Also I met up with him last night and we've really been enjoying each other's company. I'm seeing him again tonight. I think this one's a keeper

I'm worried about my friend. She's taking this break up a little hard, last night when she was drunk she was eithier making out with as many guys as possible, or by the end of the night having an emotional breakdown. I think I upset her a bit, at the end of the night I took my phone to my room so she didnt call him up drunk, it was only for a few hours and it took 30sec to return when she asked but I think I overstepped the line. Personally I would rather someone took my phone but hey ho...

That what you call it these days?

And you had the right intentions taking her phone. I personally dont see the problem with it, but some people are different i guess. Just explain to her why you did it i guess?

I didnt really have a chance earlier, she just turned up this morning and took her phone. She said "I told you I run out of credit" but she walked away before I could point out she could still get onto fb chat, the way she usually talks to her boyfriend. exboyfriend.
I havnt seen her since, she spent the morning texting the guys she made out with last night and then she went off on a date with one of them.

on a random note

Really good thread.

But.

The question is.

Have you got laid yet?

To all the people who have been waiting anxiously for the answer to this question... Yes. It was with that guy I'm dating, my best friend's best friend. I didnt mean to go that far, we just wanted to make out in private, in clubs/pubs you always get some drunk lad saying "Go on my son!" or something similar. But yeah, we were making out on my bed, and one thing lead to another.
I didnt mean to do it this early on in this relationship, but I'm glad I did.

Nah, you didn't overstep the line. I'd prefer it if someone did that to me, stop me ringing my ex and crying down the phone to him
