IB Private School or AP Public School? I really need help choosing!

Hi there! I'm new here, and I'm currently in Grade 10, enrolled in a private IB school in Canada. For Grade 11, I've been tempted to switch to a public school and take AP courses, and they're accepted me, but I'm not sure which to pick and the deadline's coming up. Here's some info:

IB (Private School):
- I'm currently getting 7s in all my subjects except for a 7/6 in Spanish
- I don't like many people at all in my school (there are only 30 people in my grade - snobby rich kids ...)
- I know the principal well and all my teachers are fond of me
- The classes are very small, so I get a lot of individual help
- Tuition is 15,000 CAD a year, which my family can barely afford
- Easier to be Valedictorian/similar positions because of small class size
- IB Diploma as well as Dogwood Diploma

AP (Public School):
- I will have the chance to make new friends and have a new start
- More clubs
- More fundraiser opportunities
- I heard AP is easier, lighter workload
- The classes will be much bigger
-Tuition will be almost free
- Easier to get credits for university courses

Also, I won't be attending university in Europe for sure, so IB recognition in Europe doesn't matter.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could offer their opinion! :colondollar: thank you so much.

It sounds like you're a very academically able student. However, a work-life balance is important. The quantity of work for the IB means that at the moment I'm hardly doing anything else (apart from the odd hour of procrastination on TSR )

I've got my IB exams in May this year but wish I'd done A levels - uni offers are a lot lower for a start. I would switch to AP
