According to this I got 93/100. Is it a safe bet that's an A*?

Lol YES. 80%+= safe bet

I have around 70/100 on non Calc. How well will I need to do on CALC for an A*??!?!?!?!?! Someone please?

Yeah pretty much! xD You'll just have to ace the calculator paper as well!

Mr M, for the cylinder question for the non-calc yesterday i got something along the lines of: cube rt(something/ 4/3) - would i get anything for that? Thanks very much

I think you might have done something right so will probably get at least one mark but it is very hard to say for sure based on that!

Can someone please answer my past post? Is an A* out of reach with roughly 70/100 on THIS paper?

Mr M for the circle theroums i said that the Diagonally opposite angles angles in a kite are equal so where the radius meets the tanget are bot 90 degrees. is this ok?

Not really unless you proved the shape was a kite first.

For question 7:

I did the LONG method

9:20 9:40 10:00 10:20 10:40 11:00
9:24 9:48 9:10 9:34 ETC ETC

Although I didn't get the right answer.

Will I still get a mark for this method?

I may have added mins wrong.

yes you will get a mark for that

Just wanted to check for the bearing questions - I got 111, is that correct?

yes

Mr.M, for the parallelogram question, I put the answer as 351/9 and I realise now that can be simplified to 39, how many marks would I get for 351/9 out of 3?

all of them?

For 23 a, I started factorising
I got (x+4)(x-1)
------------
(2x-1)(x+3).

Instead of (x-1) on the bottom row, so I obviously couldn't cancel, will I get any marks?

For the Orange juice carton where the answer is 4cm, is it that 8/20 is 40%, so 40% of 10cm would be 4cm high...?

Feel as though I really did badly, but looking at this mark scheme I'm guessing something like 58 - 60/100... really need to do well tomorrow! x

Same here I'm quite worried though because i made very silly mistakes I'm aiming for about 65-70 marks to at least have a chance of getting an A I really hope I do

It depends on the boundaries....to be sure you would need 97 today...but it could be as low as 120 overall....it depends how well/bad all of us did.

There was a parallelogram where the opposite pairs of angles were 2x and 2x and 3x-15 and 2x + 24.

MR M couls please show me how 39 is the answer to this question because I got the answer wrong but hopefully my workings are correct :frown:

There was a parallelogram with opposite pairs of angles of 2x and 2x and 3x-15 and 2x+24 and you were asked to find x.

3x - 15 = 2x + 24

x = 39
