This bit scares me! I have a good memory at learning things logically. For example when I taught myself Spanish I can easily speak it fluently right now even though I haven't spoken properly in a long time, but my 'other memory' or cramming memory is appalling, and I am so scared that it will let me down.

In my first degree I was okay, although I understand GEP of Barts will be FAR more intense.

BTW do you have any info about the GEP course or could you get some more? You have given a great example of the 1st and 2nd years of normal entry, but any info on GEP would be fantastic and appreciated greatly!

If you've done a previous degree, Im sure youll be just fine in Medicine!

As for GEP course, i have no idea. I've only met like 2 in 2 years, they have different lectures and are rarerly ever in the same lectures as us. This may help:

Look at GEP Year 1, youll see its the same modules as Y1/2 but not all as they expect you to know somewhat already from your degree.

Yup me too. All this talk of course structure and content is just teasing us.

ill explain using A levels as an exam. So you'll do Unit 1 and 2 exam in January (assume its medicine) and you'll do unit 3 (SSC not coursework) throughout the year.

At the end of year (ie finals) they test you everything all over again, unlike testing you just on Unit 1 or 2.

I didn't take modular exams (CIE brav! :P) so that's still kind of confusing.

So you'll have unit assessments throughout the year, and then a final based on all of those topics done throughout the year, and both count towards your final grade for that year?

Dunno the exact time, but I logged onto track a few seconds after I did a post saying I was logging onto track (16:36pm), and it was there when I logged on

The email from track came at 16:47pm

in all honesty, I dont think I can handle a rejection at this precise moment. Toothache, thumb grazed, coursework (both bio and chem!) AND a rejection

that would be too much, even for me :/

guess no news today..for me at least.
