How beneficial will Kickboxing twice a week be to my body?

Hi guys,

I am pretty small and weedily thin. I have taken up kick-boxing twice a week to get fitter. I do two one hour sessions a week. The classes are extremely intense and I am bathed in my sweat at the end. I am also walking a lot of long distances to get fit too.

What will kick boxing do to me? I hear it really excercises your abs and legs, and arms. When will I start to see noticable results? Should I be adding more to my workout routine? I want to build muscle.

If your goal is to build muscle then it wont help.

It will help with weight loss if your diet is in check.

you will most likely stay the same weight (possibly lose a bit) but you will be a lot more defined.

You will strengthen, but you wont get "big" so to say. Keep it up though and make sure you eat right.
