Well done for completely missing the point. Idiot.

How am I an idiot? What you said:

"Just think of all of those lovely right-wing seats which could be won." - in reference to how the left wing vote being split is a good thing.

Basically, I'm right. The left wing vote being split will simply result in several smaller left wing parties, with the same total number of left wing seats, while the right will have less, larger parties, with the same number of right wing seats. Good one.

Which one is it to change the crappy layout back to the other one?

Labour.

Ah, I see where you're coming from, though I think nine months for a parliamentary term would actually be rather long. Considering how we already have provisions to extend a parliamentary term to 8 months.

Well it wouldn't be every term that would be that length, just 1 in every 10, the rest would be 6 months.

What about extraordinary circumstances? In RL the bill states that the House can be dissolved if 66% majority agree to do so. Also it gives a deadline for the motion that 'This House has confidence in HM government' if a VoNC is passed otherwise parliament is dissolved.

Well I can't really imagine any extraordinary circumstances on TSR that would require an urgent dissolution tbh. Even if there was a successful VoNC in the government and no alternative one formed, the House could still continue without one.

This is a debate for another day though, I don't want to pull the thread any more off-topic.

You're still missing the point.

I was talking to a person from ONE party (Socialists); I was not referencing all the left wing parties.

I'm as interested to see the poll results from this thread as I would be to see the distribution of genders who: a) voted b) was involved in the election for one of the parties c) are active members of TSR

The right wing still wouldn't win any more seats, as you said. It's fine though, you're obviously not intelligent enough to understand.

Next time just keep out of conversations that do not involve you and are clearly over your head.

Your initial point didn't make sense. How would a more diverse Left be a weaker Left? - and how would the Right benefit?

Perfectly within my head thanks, I was just trying to correct you because you made a silly statement, but if you'd rather live in your ignorance that's fine with me.

I have voted for the party I most believe in, so obviously the Conservatives.
Libertarian people, you all know it makes sense .
