Fictional end-user

Do you think you would lose any marks for having a fictional end-user? Provided the documentation that was said to come from them, was reasonable?

Personally I dont see why you cant demonstrate the required computing skills in the coursework, if you have a fictional end-user.

I'm taking AQA Computer Science, and it requires feedback from the user in the form of either an official letter from their business (ie. with letterhead and signed) or else the person has to be verified with your teacher. It was even suggested that I take photographs of my beta testers.

I personally agree that there shouldn't be any problems with a non-existent end user, since it contributes nothing to your computing skills, but it's stated in the mark scheme. Sorry.

they dont really check out that person tbh. All you require from them (or for someone else to do) is for them to fill out the questionaire (by hand!!!), date and sign it, and do them same with there end user testing.
