Finance qualifications (risk management)

i have to choose my qualification route for a new job in a wealth management.

IMC first then CFA level 1 then choice between FRM or continue with CFA exams

I am thinking of asking to skip IMC and go straight to CFA Level 1. But I feel FRM is more specific to the role and will lead to more opportunities in the future.

Any thoughts?

I found CFA has more prestige in investment industry than FRM, especially within investment/asset management.

FRM is more specific on risk management, especially having a bias towards derivative side.

So if you are going into risk management profession, FRM will be a good start. But I think it will be better to couple with a PhD degree.

In terms of general recognition, CFA seems better.
IMC then CFA. Don't skip it, in fact in some firms it's compulsory.
